Ein Besuch im Dorf Sineu

Das nur 5 Minuten entfernte Dorf Sineu liegt fast genau in der Mitte von Mallorca und ist über gut ausgebaute Straßen in alle Richtungen verbunden. So erreichen Sie schnell die schönsten Strände ebenso wie die vielen weiteren Ausflugziele, die Mallorca zu bieten hat. Zusätzlich hält im Stundentakt die Bahn Palma/Manacor.

Eine besondere Attraktion in Sineu ist der Wochenmarkt, der jeden Mittwoch stattfindet. Hier gibt es nicht nur Obst und Gemüse, sowie die üblichen Angebote für Touristen. Es werden auch lebende Tiere für die Landwirtschaft angeboten. Wenn Sie den Markt etwas ruhiger genießen wollen, seien Sie früh dort, denn ab etwa 10 Uhr kommen die Busse mit den anderen Touristen.

Nicht nur am Markttag bietet das schöne Sineu viele gute Restaurants und Cafés, die auch außerhalb der Sommersaison eine gute Küche anbieten. Auch mehrere Supermärkte sind das ganze Jahr über geöffnet.

Nicht zuletzt ist es erwähnenswert, dass Sineu im Mittelalter die Hauptstadt Mallorcas war. Hier spürt man noch viel vom ursprünglichen Mallorca.

A visit to the village of Sineu

The beautiful village of Sineu is located almost exactly in the middle of Mallorca and thanks to the good infrastructure it is well connected to all areas of the island. You can easily reach most beaches and the many other destinations that Mallorca has to offer. In addition, the Palma/Manacor train stops in Sineu every hour.

A special attraction in Sineu is the weekly market, which takes place every Wednesday. It offers not only fruits and vegetables, but also interesting local souveniers, and even live animals for agriculture. If you want to enjoy the market a little quieter, make sure to arrive there early, because from about 10 o'clock the buses bring many tourists to Sineu.

Not only on market days, Sineu offers great restaurants and cafes, which serve tasty food and drinks outside the summer season. Also, several supermarkets are open all year round.

Last but not least, it is worth mentioning that Sineu was the capital of Mallorca in the Middle Ages. No wonder you can still feel a lot of the original Mallorcan flair here.
